Workshop

The ACM SIGGRAPH Chapters workshop is an opportunity for all chapter leaders to convene for a face-to-face meeting with their fellow leaders from around the world.  At least one representative from each active ACM SIGGRAPH chapter is encouraged to attend the workshop and share the information learned back with any other leaders who were unable to attend.  New leaders should strongly consider attending.  The workshop is organized into networking and leadership development activities.  The Professional and Student Chapters Committee (PSCC) puts on this day long workshop annually just before the SIGGRAPH conference.  Typically the day before SIGGRAPH begins (Saturday).  Since the workshop begins early in the morning leaders are encouraged to plan attendance into their SIGGRAPH travel plans by arriving on Friday night.  ACM generously has provided lunch for the workshop attendees over the years.  When possible a similar event will be held at SIGGRAPH Asia.  Specific details of the workshop signup are sent to active ACM SIGGRAPH Chapters each Spring.
